Laser clay bird shooting is a modern and sophisticated adaptation of traditional clay pigeon shooting, designed to provide a thrilling shooting experience without the use of live ammunition (or live targets!)
Participants use authentic 12-gauge shotguns that have been modified to fire harmless infrared beams. The clays (or ‘pigeons’), used in this activity have omnidirectional reflective tape attached to them and are launched from a launcher on the deck.
Up to five players can shoot at the same time, and when a shooter successfully hits a clay, the infrared beam is reflected back to the gun, registering a “HIT” on the computerised scoreboard.
To enhance the experience, authentic sound effects are played, making participants feel like they are engaging in a real shooting competition.
The computerised scoreboard keeps track of hits and allows for various forms of competition, catering to participants of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or a beginner, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting offers a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. At the end of the competition, the winner is awarded a trophy and podium placements, while all participants receive a medal to commemorate their participation.

We’re hiring: We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified GPH (or suitable person with the ability to get GPH qualification) looking for a full-time summer contact position, joining our friendly and hard-working team from 1 October 2024 to 5 April 2025.
The right candidate would be available weekends, assist in ensuring boats are ready for charters, be sole deckhand on board and because we are a small and supportive team, be a service-orientated team player assisting with food and drink service throughout the charter.
Being a core member of the team, the successful applicant will be a fast learner and will be expected to lead freelance crew to deliver charters to our high expectations.
The job is based from the Gladesville Bridge Marina, Drummoyne with plentiful street parking available.
